I've been sick as a dog, and updating this site has gone to the bottom of my priority list. However, I have an urgent plea to the people who are kind enough to read this site. A close friend of my fiancee's family is clinging to his life after a severe accident this weekend. He has had a series of very serious surgeries since Sunday morning. He is conscious enough to open his eyes and is able to squeeze him mom's hand as of today. There is hope that he will live through this, but he badly needs blood.

There is now an urgent need for blood donations for Chris. If there is any way that you can help, Chris needs your help now. You can go to any blood donation collection center and give any blood type. Please state the blood is for Christopher Frederick Salin at Memorial Herman Hospital in Houston, TX. If you do donate, please notify me by email so that we can let his family know. I cannot tell you how much this will be appreciated.
